Welcome to A Taste of Summer, where we bring you a dining experience like no other! Our journey began when two friends came together with a shared passion for culinary excellence and a desire to offer something unique to their city. This passion led to the creation of our Long Table Summer Dinner Series, a dining experience that has become a highlight of the summer season.

Our events are held at a beautiful outdoor location, where you can enjoy the warm weather and scenic views while indulging in a delicious meal. We take pride in offering a farm-to-table experience that showcases the best of local and sustainable produce, meats, and other products. We believe in supporting our community and the environment, which is why we work closely with local farmers and producers to bring you the freshest and most flavorful ingredients.

Our Long Table Summer Dinner Series is a unique culinary journey that features a discriminating selection of acclaimed wines paired with gourmet cuisine crafted by local chefs. This year, we are proud to announce that our menu will be created by not one, not two, not three, but four talented local Black chefs. These chefs are dedicated to showcasing their unique style and bringing their culinary expertise to our events.

At A Taste of Summer, we believe that dining should be an experience that engages all your senses. That's why we have created an atmosphere that is both elegant and relaxed, where you can enjoy great food, wine, and conversation with friends and family. We invite you to join us for an unforgettable evening under the stars, where you can savor the tastes of summer and create lasting memories.

Our philosophy at A Taste of Summer is centered around providing each and every guest with a one-of-a-kind and lasting impression. which is why we are excited to offer VIP Tickets for our Long Table Summer Dinner Series. VIP Ticket holders will have the opportunity to arrive one hour prior to general admission, where they can enjoy hor d'oeuvres and a private spirit tasting curated by our celebrity mixologist, The Cocktail Genius. This year, we are featuring an array of minority-owned spirits, including Uncle Nearest, Birdie Brown Whiskey, Tequila with Friends, Hubris Vodka, Los Hermanos, Brenology Wines, Diggs Boys, Cane Mixers, Blackstone brandy, and more.

During the private spirit tasting, guests can sip, sample, and savor various spirits while engaging with some of the owners who will be in attendance. Our goal is to showcase these minority-owned spirits and allow them to tell their unique story.

Doors for general admission will open at 5 pm, where guests can enjoy a social hour while sipping cocktails. At 6 pm, all ticket holders will sit down and enjoy three amazing bites paired with carefully chosen wines. Each bite will begin with a designated sommelier describing the wine you will taste and the chef who has created the dish for your tasting pleasure. After the bites, guests will be served an elegant dinner by Simple Eats and Chef Beon while enjoying music provided by DJ Droopy to fit the vibe.

Following dinner, guests will end the evening with the ambiance of nature, filled with music, a bonfire, and for those interested, a mobile cigar lounge. The meals prepared will be a prix fixe menu built around seasonally available ingredients. Location and final details will be emailed to guests who have purchased tickets.

Lastly, for the color theme, this year we have chosen Yellow. Yellow is a color associated with the sun, symbolizing optimism, energy, joy, happiness, and friendship. We believe it's the perfect color for summer and a summer event. Welcome to A Taste of Summer!
